JSC Volga has summarized the results of its participation in the 27th International Packaging Industry Exhibition RosUpack, which took place in Moscow from 6 to 9 June this year. During the exhibition, over 100 major customers visited the Volga’s stand, and several dozen negotiations and meetings were held.

Based on the Company's results in 2022, IFRS EBITDA increased by 39% to 4.33 billion rubles compared to 2021. Revenue from product sales increased by 8% to 14 billion rubles, with net profit of 2.7 billion rubles.

The 18th China International Pulp-and-Paper Industry Exhibition was held at the Poly World Trade Centre Expo in Guangzhou from 30 May to 1 June 2023. Paper products, equipment and chemicals for pulp-and-paper production were presented at the event.

In 2024 JSC Volga plans to increase the packaging papers output by 50% to 450,000 tons. Sergey Pondar, the General Director of the Company, told Lesprom Network that the key markets for the Mill will be Russia, China and India.

In December 2022, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) approved by its order a revised version of the reference book of the Best Available Technology (BAT) Reference Document in the pulp and paper industry. For the first time, this Reference Document includes technologies used in the production of the entire range of Volga JSC products: paper made of 100% thermomechanical pulp and paper from mixes based on thermomechanical pulp and waste paper.
