For 9 months of 2021, Volga JSC increased production and shipment of finished products by 15%

Compared to the same period last year, the Company's production volumes increased to 225 thousand tons of finished products, the increase in revenue from the sale of paper amounted to 42%.
In 2021, Volga JSC continued to implement a development strategy aimed at diversifying its product portfolio, increasing the share of packaging types to 53% (40% in comparison with the previous year for the same period). The main growth in the share of packaging paper types is primarily due to an increase in the productivity of the enterprise. The share of production and sales of standard newsprint has changed slightly (-5% compared to the same period previous year).
From the point of view of geographical diversification in 2021, emphasis was placed on increasing the share of Volga's presence in the Russian market (an increase of more than 2 times compared to the previous year). At the same time, the increase occurred both in the segment of printing papers and in the segment of packaging grades.
According to Alexey Vdovin, Deputy General Director for Sales of Volga JSC, the Company's plans for 2022 provide for an additional ten percent increase in productivity, which will not only maintain the current ratio of shares of paper types in the Company's portfolio, but also increase them in kind.
