On October 13, employees of Volga JSC joined “100 Spruce Trees” environmental campaign, which took place in a picturesque place – on the grounds of Lesnaia Opushka (Forest Edge) (Pravdinsk micro district, Balakhna).
The campaign was mounted by the Balakhna municipal district administration in liaison with the Youth Chamber under the BMD Council of Deputies. Together with city residents, students, representatives of public organizations and volunteers, Volga employees contributed to the greening of their hometown by planting 100 spruce saplings along the pedestrian paths at Lesnaia Opushka.
In parallel, enthusiasts of the Youth Chamber added spice by planting several cedar saplings, which added variety to “spruce” planting.Environmental campaigns always hold appeal for Volga JSC employees, because they do want their town to change for the better, become greener and more beautiful!
