photo Volga JSC will take part in the 26th International Exhibition of the Packaging Industry RosUpack, which will be held from the 7th to 10th of June 2022 in Moscow. This year, the largest event of the packaging industry in Russia and Eastern Europe will bring together more than 420 companies and 20,000 visitors, managers and specialists of Russian and foreign companies from various sectors of the economy.

Volga JSC will present its products – corrugated packaging paper and other types of packaging papers – at stand No. D4097 in Pavilion No. 1 (Hall No. 4).

"We will be glad to participate in such a landmark event for the packaging and e-commerce industry," said Alexey Vdovin, Deputy General Director for Sales. – This is a great opportunity for us to meet with key consumers of our products, discuss prospects for cooperation with potential partners already working with us, especially since our Сompany has very ambitious plans. Starting from December 2019, Volga JSC began to increase its presence in the segment of ultra-light and light liners and flutings – these are components for the production of corrugated cardboard, which, in turn, is processed into corrugated boxes for the fast-growing worldwide segment of e-commerce. In 2020 and 2021, we significantly strengthened our positions and increased the share of packaging paper in the total portfolio of orders, and today about 50% of the products of Volga JSC are produced in the form of packaging/container grades of paper and are supplied both for export and to Russian manufacturers of corrugated packaging."

In 2022, all Russian enterprises faced new challenges related to Western sanctions: first of all, these are restrictions in logistics and problems with payments. Nevertheless, Volga JSC did not stop the work on the development of the enterprise. In the three-year perspective, the Сompany plans to provide a 70% increase in packaging grades of paper and cardboard.

"We may have to partially repurpose our equipment purchases from Europe to China, but that is why the RosUpack exhibition is one of the key events of the year for us, allowing us to communicate directly with Chinese machine builders," Alexey Vdovin added. – In terms of operational component of the business, it is very important that Russian manufacturers of corrugated packaging do not stay away from global trends and use even lighter components in the production of corrugated cardboard. Our team is looking forward to the opening of the exhibition in order to present a wide range of our products in Moscow."
